Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 6 green apples
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cans of biscuits

Instructions


Peel apples and cut into wedges. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and add cinnamon, sugar, and apple slices. Cook until apples are slightly tender. Roll out one biscuit, lay two apple slices on top, and roll up. Place in a buttered baking dish. When done with the rest of the biscuits and apples, spread remaining butter and cinnamon sugar on top. Bake at 350º until biscuits are golden brown. Serve with or without ice cream.
