Caramel Apple Pie

  • 2 ½ cups sliced Jonathan apples
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 25 caramels
  • 3 tbsps. milk
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • Whipped topping


Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400°. In medium bowl, combine apples, sugar, and flour then set aside. In a double boiler, melt caramels with milk, stirring frequently. Add apple mixture and spoon in pie crust. Top with chopped pecans and bake on baking sheet for 25 minutes. Garnish with whipped topping.
