Mississippi Sin Dip

  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 11/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooked ham, chopped
  • 1/3 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 pound round loaf French bread
  • Chips or crackers for serving, if desired


In a large bowl, combine cheese, sour cream, ham, onions, and Worchestershire sauce; set aside.
Cut a thin slice from the top of the bread. Cut out the center of the bread, leaving 1/2-inch from the edge. Cut center into 1-inch cubes. Fill hollowed loaf with dip. Put lid back on loaf.
Wrap reserved loaf with foil and bake at 350ยบ for 1 hour. Can use the bread cubes to serve with dip along with chips or crackers.
