  • 2 boxes cake mix, your choice
  • 3 to 4 cans vanilla frosting
  • Ice cream cones, large
  • 2 snowball cakes, white
  • 1 bag marshmallows,
  • any size
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Miniature chocolate chips
  • Edible coloring frosting pens
  • Coconut, shredded
  • Instructions

Bake cake as directed (mix and pour both cakes on sheet lined with parchment paper to keep from sticking to pan); let cool and put on platter that will be size of cake. Frost cake; it doesn’t have to be perfect – you want it to look like snow. Cut ends off two large ice cream cones, then place the cones on cake like an igloo. Carefully peel off the white of a snowball cake and place over cone. Take marshmallows and make a snowman, placing frosting in between each marshmallow to stick to each other. Place pretzel sticks to make arms, and with frosting pens draw faces. Place chocolate chips on top for hats. Place other figures (which can be purchased in bakery department) on cake and sprinkle over cake with coconut.
This cake is time consuming, but it makes a great centerpiece and conversation piece.
