Jack-O-Lantern Cheeseball

  • 2 (8 ounce) cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup solid packed pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup apricot or pineapple preserves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Beat cheeses, pumpkin, preserves, and spices in medium bowl until smooth. Shape into a ball and chill until serving time.
Note: For a more decorative look, shape into round pumpkin; using a knife, score vertical lines down pumpkin; break a pretzel rod in half and place rod on top for stem.
