Ingredients

  • Burgers:
  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 fresh pineapple rings
  • Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
  • Dash hot sauce
  • Instructions

Combine all of the burger ingredients except the pineapple in a bowl and form into six patties about 1-inch thick. Whisk together sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use. Heat a grill or grill pan to medium and cook the burgers for about 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Grill the pineapple rings for 1 minute on each side, then place a ring on top of each burger. Serve with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
