Pecan Cracker Bar Candy

  • 35 saltine crackers
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


15-x-10-inch pan with foil coated with nonstick spray. Arrange a single layer of crackers on the foil. In a heavy saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. When the sugar is dissolved, spread mixture over crackers. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until bubbly.
Remove from oven and immediately pour chocolate chips over the crackers. When melted, spread chocolate over crackers. Sprinkle pecans on top. Chill in refrigerator, uncovered, for one hour. Remove and break into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
