Hot Pepper Mustard

  • 42 mild hot banana peppers
  • 6 green bell peppers
  • 1 pint mustard
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 11/2 cups water


Clean and grind the peppers. Mix together with mustard, vinegar, salt, and sugar in a kettle; bring to a boil. Mix flour with water and add to pepper mixture. Boil five minutes. Pour into jars and seal.
Yield: 10 pints.
