Chinese Snow Peas

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups whole fresh peas
  • 1/2 cup matchstick carrots or thin-sliced carrots
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Heat vegetable oil on high. Sauté peas and carrots until crisp-tender. Add soy sauce and sesame oil; blend for 1 minute. Add cashews and butter, stirring until butter melts. Serve warm.
