  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 2 cups flour
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Dash of salt
  • Instructions

    Cream together butter or margarine and cream cheese. Add flour and mix until combined. Refrigerate one hour or until chilled.
    Make into small balls the size of a quarter and press them into ungreased mini cupcake pans. (Dip fingers into flour if they stick).

    Beat filling ingredients together. Put 1 teaspoon of filling in each tassie. Bake at 350ยบ for 25 minutes.
