Chocolate Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 1/3 cups Bisquick, divided
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (6-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup milk

Instructions


Stir together brown sugar and 1/3 cup Bisquick in large heavy skillet. Add chocolate
pieces. Gradually stir in water; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate melts and mixture thickens slightly.
Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Drop by tablespoons into chocolate mixture. Cook 10 minutes uncovered and 10 minutes covered. To serve, spoon chocolate mixture over dumplings.
