Taffy Apple Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 large cans evaporated milk
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla

Instructions


Cook the sugars, molasses, and evaporated milk together, stirring until creamy. Combine eggs, cream, apples, and vanilla, and add a little at a time into the milk mixture. Continue to cook until mixture begins to bubble. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions.
