Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked beans
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small sweet pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons Salsa Lizano (or Worcestershire sauce)
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon powdered bouillon
  • Instructions


    Fry onion, sweet pepper, garlic, and cilantro in the vegetable oil for about three minutes. Pour in the beans and add the sauce, black pepper, and bouillon. Cook for a few minutes, but don’t let it dry out. Pour in the cooked rice and mix well.
    Serve with sour crean, sliced tomatoes, and eggs (fried or scrambled).
