Chinese Green Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can French-cut green beans
  • 1 (8-ounce) can English peas
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Chinese vegetables
  • 1 small jar diced pimiento
  • 1 (4-ounce) can sliced
  • mushrooms
  • 1 cup finely sliced celery
  • 1 medium onion, sliced in rings
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Instructions


    Drain vegetables. Combine all ingredients except sugar and vinegar. Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate overnight.
    Yield: 12 or more servings.
