2022 commemorative 4-H/FFA knife hits Co-op shelves across the state

Commemorative 4-H/FFA knife program releases limited edition Case knife
9/27/2022

The 2022 edition of the Co-op commemorative 4-H/FFA knife will soon be available at your local Co-op. This is the 22nd year for the popular knife program, which has raised more than $500,000 since its inception in 2001.

This year’s knife is the Case Small Swell Center Jack. The Small Swell Center Jack is a historic pattern that has been released from the Case XX® Vault for limited production in 2022. The pattern was originally crafted by Case artisans in the 1940s and features an antique soda bottle shape and multi-purpose clip and pen blades. The Small Swell Center Jack was a common companion for factory workers and farmers. After this year, the knife pattern will be returned to the Case vault for another 10 years.

The Co-op commemorative version of this knife features a custom Co-op shield with the FFA and 4-H logos engraved on the bolster, the Case and Co-op logos printed on one blade, and the 4-H and FFA logos, as well as the year, on the other blade. The knife is packaged in a one-of-a-kind, full-color box designed by Tennessee Farmers Cooperative (TFC). Sponsored by TFC in cooperation with W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Co. of Bradford, Pa., the 2022 commemorative 4-H/FFA knife retails for $64.99. For each knife sold, Co-op will donate $10 to be split evenly between the Tennessee 4-H and FFA foundations.

“We’re proud of the success of this program,” says Jimmy Ogilvie, TFC’s Event and Sales Support Manager. “The funds it raises are going to a worthy cause that are making such a significant impact on youth development and are equipping future leaders with important skills.”

An exclusive walnut showcase (#1082988) is offered each year as well. The case is spacious enough to feature all the 4-H/ FFA knives to date in a single collection.
