West Hills Baptist Church in Jonesborough was established July 30, 1961, and has been located on Persimmon Ridge Road since November 1961. The congregation is led by Pastor Scott Johnston. The church meets on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. and on Wednesday evenings for a Bible study at 6:00 p.m. West Hills Baptist Church has a Garden of Hope, which serves as a community garden. The garden is a place where friends come together to grow their own fresh vegetables.
